My name is Wheeler and I’m a journalist who writes poetry on demand in Providence.

I’m usually at the PVD Pedestrian Bridge on Friday and Saturday nights (weather dependent).

Recent poems commissioned included a poem for young love in the time of COVID-19, a gift of gratitude for a middle school principal, and complicated relationships across countries.

The poems on demand are unique and based on details supplied by the person commissioning the work. The price? Whatever you think is fair. (Events have a different scale).

I write on a 1940s Royal Arrow typewriter, although I’m always in search of additional portable typewriters and an affordable IBM Selectric.
